Greeley Board of Realtors
The Greeley Board of Realtors (GARA) has a current membership of 430 Realtors and 64 Affiliate Companies. GARA is a non-profit organization for REALTOR®s and affiliates in the Greeley area, including rural Weld County. Our mission is to promote professionalism, competency, and integrity through education, cooperation and service to our diverse members and to the community, and through collective action, to promote the extension and preservation of the right to own, use, and transfer real property. Milliken Housing Authority Board
Bev served as commissioner, president, and vice president of the Milliken Housing Authority. This organization creates additional affordable housing opportunities for the Town of Milliken. Our goal was to retain citizens currently residing in Milliken, provide affordable housing options for the older population and encourage community socialization. community involvement
Greeley Board of Realtors Bowl-A-Thon
Realtors and affiliates, along with citizens from the communities, participate in a bowl-a-thon fund-raiser held every year. The goal is to assist 2-3 citizens in the community in need of financial assistance due to hardships, illness, etc. Bowling lane sponsorships, funds donated, and raffle items all support the cause. Weld Food Bank
Weld Food Bank engages our community in the fight against hunger. They are a member of Feeding America and distribute millions of pounds of food each year through nonprofit partner agencies and direct service programs. On average, over 10,000 meals are served to Weld County residents each month. The food also provides meals and services to other agencies such as food pantries, battered women’s shelters, soup kitchens, residential treatment centers, and senior and youth programs. Santa Cops for Kids
Santa Cops for Kids is a toy drive collecting toys for less fortunate children throughout Weld County. Realtors, affiliates, and citizens gather gifts, which are then delivered to the Greeley Police Department and later distributed on Christmas Eve by the local police officers.
